(This is important to write down to focus and believe good things about yourself) Day 5: Write down three positive affirmations for yourself. Day 4: Write down one thing from your childhood that you miss. Day 3: Write down one habit you’d like to develop this year. Day 2: Write down one habit you’d like to stop this year. It taps into the powerful potentials of your brain. Increases the clarity of what you want. Well when we thought about it, we allowed ourselves to embrace our inner child if it’s a memory that’s actionable we feel the urge to relive that memory. It’s not a goal so how does writing it down help. When we wrote on the 4th day of the challenge what we miss from our childhood, that might seem odd. If you place it strategically you might end up seeing it all the time, that triggers you to want to check that box or to take a minute or two focusing on that thing. There’s so much power in writing things you want to focus on or achieve down. Not everyone likes to write and that’s fine, that’s why the tasks were short and simple and some didn’t even have anything to do with goals.įirst, What am I referring to by ‘It’ when I say Write ‘It’ down.ĭo you agree? Do the chances of you getting what you want to be done increase when you write it down? Is There Power In Writing Things Down? Someone I know would take that statement as a cue and say ‘Man proposes but God disposes’.īut I’m sure we want to achieve things this year. We now know our plans can be altered by the universe. I wanted to go into 2021 without pressure(not on me actually, but the year). With all the advice we see online, some believe in goal setting, some, resolutions, all of which are important. I write on notebooks, journals or my devices. No, not with a formula or a list of methods but something natural.įor me, I’ve always written down things from to-do lists to the name of a song I heard from a friend and would like to download. Why did I choose starting write?Īpart from the wordplay(that I take pride in), I genuinely wanted to start the year right. You would see now that the theme of the week’s tasks is the inspiration for the topic of the blog post. I mean write not right, just wordplay, do you get it? (Starting the year right but with things to write down) The theme of the first week was STARTING WRITE. Each week has a different theme and we just completed the first week. I recently started a 30-day challenge on my Instagram where I send out tasks daily for us to complete and share. Without any pressure on the year(we all know how 2020 went) but still being optimistic, it’s safe to say growth is sure. It’s the first blog post for the new year, 2021.
